Bridge is a small village on the north coast of Cornwall, not far from Redruth in England’s West Country. Redruth provides some fantastic historical attractions as well as great shopping, parks, restaurants and walking opportunities.  Redruth boasts Murdoch House, the home of the inventor William Murdoch and is believed to be the first house to be lit by piped coal gas.  You can also discover Tehidy Country Park. When visiting Bridge it is always a good idea to take a trip to Portreath, down by the seaside. A small resort with a narrow harbour it was once a busy port, but is now a great place to spend the day at the beach.  The pretty sandy beach has a small stream which flows down into the sea and is a popular family beach. So with so much to do in the area, you can find some great self-catering holiday accommodation in or near Bridge and then enjoy discovering the wonderful surrounding areas.
