Set in a remote farm up in the Yorkshire Moors hills, the setting is just stunning hill top views and picturesque farmland. Brilliant for walkers and topped up with a gorgeous barn accommodation. As we some of us have pet allergies it this was ideal, for the family. The cosy kitchen dinner with its real firewood burner with all the amenities for 2025. The calm relaxing living area with it own grand piano made us all get together and play a several tunes Really calm quiet, clean and ample space. We all really enjoyed staying there and miss it very much. Thank you for making it a great relaxing few days. Read more

We loved our time at Hillside, the house is great for big families, it is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bedrooms and en suites are lovely and spacey with stunning views from most of the rooms. The location is so peaceful surrounded by nature and a short walk to the beaches. The beaches are stunning and it’s a perfect base to explore the surrounding areas with all the different beaches. The garden is private and perfect for dogs to keep them nice and secure where they have plenty of space for them to have a run about. Read more

Hillside Cottage Padstow is a great place to stay in Cornwall. The house was superb and clean and suited the 3 generations of our family staying there. The lovely enclosed garden was ideal for the dogs. The hot tub was so relaxing. From the house we were spoilt for choice with walks. Treyarnon Bay, just a 10 minute walk away...or a quick drive with all of the 'beach gear', was perfect! There was something different to do & see at the beach each day depending on the height of the tide and the weather. We loved it! Read more

Lovely honey granite cottage found at the end of a tree lined lane, next to St Hilary Church. Comfortable cottage, well placed to visit St Michaels's Mount, St Ives, Lands End & The Lizard. My go to place when I come to Cornwall every year. Read more

The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay with several adults and a few toddlers; the kitchen was fully-equipped, bed was very comfy and my husband was easily able to work from the desk in one of the bedrooms. The real treats are the hot tub and the proximity of Hillside to the beach - an 8 minute walk! Treyarnon bay itself is beautiful and has great facilities: delicious food trucks; places to drink a pint by the sea and also free, clean toilets. The beach also allows BBQs which was a real highlight of our trip. Overall, I couldn't recommend Hillside more and we'll definitely be back! Thank you, Katie and team, for a great stay. Read more

The beautiful cottage, spacious yet cosy, luxurious yet comfortable - a real home away from home! The beaches were stunning - even in a blustery January! And coming home to a glass of wine in the hot tub made it just perfect. Read more

My friends and I visited Highcloud in early January and had the most fabulous time! All communications with Big House Holidays were efficient and clear. The house was beautifully presented and fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend it and I've already rebooked for next year! Read more

This was a beautiful property and perfect for our party. It's four separate houses (each with bathroom, kitchen, lounge and two large bedrooms) and a large, comfortable garden room as a communal space as well as a huge garden. Read more

A lovely property with a great patio with sun loungers for sunny days and an covered area for rainy days. Peace and quiet and amazing views of the countryside. Everything you need is there for you and a fantastic welcome basket. In 15 years of holidaying in the uk, this is by far the best place I have stayed,( I didnt want to leave). Just back from a wonderful stay at Owl Barn. Beautiful rural location close to some pretty market towns. The barn itself was stunning and the owners have obviously gone above and beyond with both design and ambience! We all absolutely loved it and are already planning our return visit, maybe in winter to make use of the huge wood burner! Read more

Its location - walking distance to the beach & Norfolk coastal path. The bungalow is in a secluded setting - not overlooked. When you can hear the golfers strike their ball then you know you will have peace & quiet. Ducks, rabbits & a muntjac deer add to the seclusion. Read more

Beautiful Cottage situated in the grounds of a Historic Manor House Scott's Cottage a Thatched Barn Conversion that won an Award in 2012 by the owners, Please note you need to go through the gate to reach PO30 2PW when your sat nav says you have reached your destination. What is lovely about the cottage is that it does not have electric meters for your pound coins. It does not charge between ?20/30 dog charges and It does not charge an end of stay cleaning fee. We did not ask about breakage fees for beautiful vases on show. We packed them away for safety. The beautiful toilet items made our stay very enjoyable. Read more

Everything was perfect for our group of 9 with ages ranging from 2 to 80. Ensuite bedrooms with large tv's , a kitchen equiped with everything you could possibly need and a really comfortable lounge. So warm and welcoming All this in a beautiful setting. Bliss Read more
