The Property: About Granary Court
Granary Court is a spacious Barn Conversion offering maximum flexibility for all types of celebrations. If it is space you want, Granary Court is the place. Once through the main doors, you enter a large hallway. Off this hallway you will find entrances to 2 groundfloor apartments, the stairs leading to 2 upstairs apartments, and the entrance to The Garden Room. The Garden Room is the celebration room - an exceptionally large conservatory so plenty of natural light. Larger families and groups of friends love this place for its comfort, space and flexibility. Each apartment is well-appointed and offers privacy, whilst the whole of the party can dine and relax together in a wonderful Garden Room which has dining tables and chairs plus a relaxation area consisting of low level seating, TV and Coffee tables. Outside, you have a patio area with tables and chairs plus sturdy picnic benches to enjoy the outdoor party. The lawn can accommodate a marquee suitable for 100 guests. There is also a field next door which has a Fire Pit and BBQ area. This can be hired separately for a special evening event.
The large lawn is private and is suitable for marquees to enhance your celebration. Activities can be held on the lawn or on the field next door by prior arrangement. You will find a slate bed Pool Table in a separate Games Room. Ample floodlit off-street parking. Each apartment has two bedrooms (superking or double with twin/triple, or quad), a bathroom with showers (one from the main hotwater supply and the other is electric), fully equipped kitchen, and spacious lounge with TV. You will also find Freeview, DVD, CD system
The ground floor apartments are suitable for the elderly, or disabled travelling with a carer. Granary Court is great for the whole family age ranges - those who want to leave the party early and head for peace and quiet can do so by utilising the separate barn or they can find their own space in any of the lounges. We work with Hen and Stag celebrations and can help create a memorable weekend. We can put a total package together for you so no need to worry, just let us know what your budget it and we can create the rest for you. Granary Court is well-placed for many tourist attractions in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Tamworth Snowdrome, and Waterworld, are all within easy reach. Perfect base for discovering the delights of Derbyshire and the splendour of Staffordshire.
