Parking can be a problem, the length and breadth of Cornwall unless you stay on a farm. It can be difficult finding somewhere to park in even small tourist villages such as Lizard Point which attracts masses of people during the summer. Any Cornish town or village with a good beach will inevitably have some parking difficulties. Rent a cottage with a parking space and hire bikes to get around locally.  It is possible to find self-catering accommodation overlooking the beaches, although at a premium.
