Inside this cosy well presented cottage there is a lounge with a sofa bed, dining area and doors that open out to the garden, one double bedroom (can be arranged as a twin on request) and a shower room with shower and WC. This country cottage is ideal for a romantic couple's holiday or a holiday with two or three friends. The cottage garden with its views out to fields is particularly special and offers a slice of country life. Please note that the stairs in this house are quite steep and parking is available for 2 cars.
For those who love outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and hiking, the stunning landscape of the Peak District National Park is close at hand. For the chance to enjoy sailing, kayaking or cycling, Carsington Water is close by and is a popular place to visit. Also close at hand, just 11 miles away and ideal for a fun day out is the ever popular Alton Towers Theme Park.

Derbyshire is famous for the Peak District Park and villages. The hills and country lanes of the national park are excellent for walks at all levels. Walking on flat terrain is possible, especially when doing the village walks. There are sheep dotted all over the dry-stone walled fields and on the moors. One of the joys of walking in the Peak District is coming across bubbling brooks, waterfalls and lots of wild flowers.

Recommended Places to Visit: Bakewell to discover the source of the Bakewell Tart, to view the river and to enjoy a good meal out. Holidaymakers like to visit the reservoirs and the Lady Bower Dam cycle on traffic-free lanes in the Derwent Valley. Explore pretty villages such as Hartington. Matlock and Buxton are also popular places to visit with numerous attractions.
Recommended Places to Eat Out: Nothing within the immediate area. There is lots of choice with own transport and most holidaymakers staying at the cottage tend to have lunch or an evening meal at a pub or restaurant wherever they find themselves on that day of their holiday.
