The second lounge is another cosy area to catch up and socialise with friends and family on cushioned sofas. 

There are six bathrooms spread across the property, so you’ll never be waiting for the cooling waters of a shower or a hot, calming bath. At the end of the day, a choice of eight bedrooms awaits, all sure to provide a dreamy night’s sleep.

On the Second Floor:

The access to the 2nd floor is full of character with various twists, turns and low beams, making it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.

With so much on site, you may not want to leave this superb country house at all.  For the times you do spend offsite, you’re in a lovely location between Tupton and Grassmoor, so are close to all the amenities you could need, as well as everything from a golf range to a gym.  For eating out and shopping the town of Matlock and Matlock Bath are only around 10 miles away.  Perhaps you’d also like to visit one of the local pubs, or wander around the local attractions – the Peak District National park is a sublime location only 3 miles away, and the historic locations of Chatsworth House is nearby too. It will truly be a holiday to remember!
