The week-long celebrations involve family entertainment, parades and carnivals, bringing a colourful spectacle to the village.
Tideswell Food Festival only began in 2011 but has already become a popular part of the events calendar. Celebrating local produce and artisan food is the name of the game. The 2012 festival involved cookery demonstrations, wine tasting, dance and live music. Hoping for an even bigger event, the organisers have announced May 4th as the date for the 2013 festival.
