Inside this 6 Bedroom Country House near Halesworth and Southwold

Step into The Farmhouse and be greeted by welcoming and homely accommodation, blending perfectly with the historic atmosphere of the house. The living accommodation is on the ground floor, where you will find two lovely sitting rooms, both boasting comfy sofas and armchairs to relax in when you fancy a day in with the family. The ground floor dining area is a beautifully designed space, looking out over sunny herb gardens and a scenic duck pond, with enough room for everyone to sit around and chat over morning coffees and pastries. Or, perhaps you’ll enjoy a traditional homecooked meal, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen which offers everything you need to make your dream meal.  There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor, a further family bathroom on the first floor, and an additional first floor WC.

On the first floor, enjoy a choice of five gorgeous bedrooms, with another final bedroom on the second floor. These bedrooms can sleep up to 13 people, making this the perfect location for group holidays.

The 6 bedrooms comprise of:

A bedroom with a queen-size Sleigh bed, east facing balcony and en-suite shower room,

A bedroom with a romantic poster bed with garden views,

A bedroom with cosy twin beds in an antique French style, complemented by picturesque views,

A bedroom with a Sleigh bed and great views,

A bedroom with three Swedish style day beds and windows perfectly placed to catch both the sunrise and the sunset.

Sunny attic room with two single beds, promising a dreamy night!

Outside, wake up and wander out to the terrace, perfect for a spontaneous breakfast looking over gorgeous views. Or, sit out on the bench at the front of the house and watch the sunset in the evenings after a game of pool, table tennis or table football in the games room.

Explore all the delights of rural and coastal Suffolk on holiday

From your base at the Farmhouse, there will be plenty to enjoy in the surrounding area. Just 3.5 miles away is the charming market town of Halesworth, perfect for both your daily shop in the Co-op, or exploring the more unique offerings of artisan cafes and independent shops. If the seaside is more your thing, then why not take a trip down to Southwold and wander past the brightly painted beach huts or look for lucky stones on the pebble beach? For a sandier beach, try the dunes at Walberswick, just a ten-minute drive away! Dunwich is another idyllic location, just around the corner with a classic fish and chips shop that no sandy holiday would be complete without! So, from coastal delights to stunning natural scenes (such as the Minsmere RSPB reserve) there will be something for everyone at The Farmhouse!
