2 Bedroom Pet-Friendly Lodge with Beautiful Garden Views, near Port Isaac

This 2 bedroom pet-friendly lodge, is one of a group of six lodges, standing close to the charming village of Port Isaac on the north Cornwall coast. Port Isaac most people will recognise as Doc Martin’s television home village of Portwenn. Most of us are very familiar with the small pretty stone harbour with boats and a strip of beach in front of it, the pub at the side overlooking it and the narrow streets leading away in all directions. One of the advantages of staying in Port Isaac are the pubs and restaurants for the best fish and chips you have ever tasted and for terraces where you can sit and enjoy the views over a glass of wine.

Inside this 2 Bedroom Pet-Friendly Lodge near Port Isaac

•    This welcoming holiday lodge has two bedrooms; one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

•     There is a spacious open plan living area featuring comfy sofas, a dining area and a kitchen where you can rustle up meals and snacks.  There is a fridge freezer to keep your food fresh, a dishwasher, a microwave and an oven and hob for easy self-catering. The lodges do not contain a washing machine because there is a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers on site.

•     The shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC completes the accommodation.

Outside, each lodge has a small patio with garden furniture and there are two parking spaces.


Depending on the weather, you might wish to cook and eat your meals at the dining table, on the picnic bench outside, or you might prefer to investigate the menus in Port Isaac. The property is on a farm so you can enjoy a taste of country living and expect to see a few animals, including free roaming chickens and guinea fowl.

Relax in the evening after a day out by watching films on the television or playing games. There are some amazing beaches a short drive away, such as Polzeath Beach and Rock Beach.

Cornwall is home to a large community of artists and you may well come across gift shops that stock so many of their creations. The north Cornwall Atlantic Coast is extremely popular with surfers and this may be another activity that you may wish to try. Surf schools and surf hire shops abound on this coast. Any dog owning families will be pleased to know that two dogs are welcome at these lodges and that there is a one-acre field where they may be walked.
