Everyone holidays in Cornwall at some point because it has such a good reputation for self catering holidays and a beautiful coast and countryside.

Cornwall's coast is lengthy and rugged, interspersed with coves and bays with good beaches. Walking the coastal path has become a very popular activity, holidaymakers even come from the Continent because it is so beautiful.

Most people have heard of surfing in Cornwall, it is even better to watch or participate in person, there are surfing schools and hire on most beaches on the Atlantic coast. Lots of watersports take place in the seas around Cornwall, there is kite surfing, kayaking, diving and many other unusual activities for all ages.

Older people sometimes prefer to stay in the countryside because it is quiet and there aren't any disturbances or traffic noise at night. All those narrow country roads with tall hedgerows are very pretty and a cottage looking out onto a wooded valley or wild ponies on Bodmin may be your dream holiday.

There are lots of country cottages, coastal cottages, apartments, village houses and even log cabins to choose from all over Cornwall. Use the Cottage Search to specify particular requirements or the Sort facility to view the holiday lets in a certain order, e.g. by number of bedrooms.
