• The open plan living area features a comfy sofa where you can sit back, relax and watch TV whilst enjoying the glow from the warming woodburner. Also part of this area is the well equipped kitchen and cosy dining area.
• A master bedroom with a double bed, exposed stone walls and TV.
• A cosy twin bedroom.
• A family bathroom with bath (plus shower over), wash basin and WC.
Outside this lovely cottage is outdoor seating where you can enjoy garden views and dine alfresco. With its own private fenced garden where you can look out to open fields, this is a great family-friendly and pet-friendly cottage. Guests staying at the Shippen also enjoy access to the shared on site gardens where there is a children's playground and BBQ.

As you walk the South West Coastal Path Fowey in south Cornwall you will enjoy stunning sea views and scenes of the picturesque harbours. The Fowey Estuary is renowned for its stunning coastal walks, secluded coves, beaches, wild flowers and lovely scenery. Much of the land around Fowey is managed and owned by the National Trust.
You will find numerous quaint shops and unspoilt beaches in Fowey, plenty of places for meals out or chat with the locals over a quiet drink in one of Fowey's pubs.
The port of Fowey has existed since pre-Roman times when ships exported cargos of tin that was mined throughout Cornwall. The old castles still stand guarding the entrance to the harbour.
