The River Parrett Trail passes by the River Parrett at Langport and is a long distance walk which follows this river all the way through Somerset right to the coast.
Another great place for walks and wildlife watching is the RSPB’s Nature Reserve at West Sedgemoor in the Somerset Levels. This is an award winning site of special scientific interest which covers over 2000 acres of wet meadowland and is said to be one of the very best places in the UK for spotting wildlife and birds in particular. Bring your binoculars and camera on a visit here so you can capture those special memories.
