Each lodge is sensitively furnished and provides a large open plan living space with plenty of seating around a log burner and TV, a table for family meals and an oak fitted kitchen which boasts an American style fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, microwave and ample cooking facilities.

Within an hour’s drive are several very good beaches; Skegness is a lively resort with amusements and funfair, Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe much more sedate in nature, The wash National Nature Reserve on the border with Norfolk is a brilliant location for spotting sea birds and waders. Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds has more than a couple of antique shops and tea rooms for a treasure finding afternoon out and of course there is golf at the notable Woodhall Spa Golf Course nearby.
