Escape on a rural retreat break to charming Barn Owl Cottage in Lincolnshire. Set by farmlands and unspoilt countryside, this lovely 1 bedroom cottage could be the ideal place for a romantic break or for a break for up to 3 people. Dog-friendly, you can bring your pet pooch too!
Barn Owl Cottage lies at the 10 mile midway point between the historic market towns of Horncastle and Boston, nestled down a country lane and surrounded by the rich fertile soils of the fenland countryside. You can choose to relax and unwind in the comfy sofas or open up the patio doors and step outside onto the paved patio area and enjoy the view out towards the undulating Lincolnshire Wolds. Either way this is a lovely retreat in which you can take a well deserved break from the everyday hustle and bustle of daily life.
With wonderful country views from every window, and a location down a country lane, Barn Owl Cottage could be the perfect place to unwind and relax in charming surroundings. Relax in the light and airy living space, dine together looking out to the garden and enjoy a good night's sleep in the comfy super king-size bed (if required, a z-bed can be made available to sleep one extra guest).
Dogs are welcome and the cottage can accommodate two. Lincolnshire has an abundance of woods, beaches and countryside walks for you and your dogs to enjoy and details of these are available in our information folder provided in the cottage.
The one bedroom can sleep up to 3 as it has a Super King zip and link bed, and a fold away single bed is available on request.
The stylish bathroom has a shower above a p-shaped bath and heated towel rail.
There is a light and airy living space combined with kitchen area. An exposed beam forms the mantle over the fireplace and a log burning stove where you can cosy up over the cold winter months. The kitchen is well equipped with washine machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob as well as numerous utensils for you to conjure up your evening meal. However, if you decide to eat out then you will not be disappointed by the abundance of eating establishments within the area. The nearest pub is only half a mile in the local village of New Bolingbroke.
