St Albans is a large Hertfordshire town with excellent travel links with London.  If you are looking to book a self catering cottage stay in an attractive town with a good range of facilities and great transport links with London then St Albans could be the right choice for you.  Train journeys in to London take around 20 minutes.  Although a large town St Albans is quite a charming place with a number of interesting historical buildings.  Also in St Albans are a great range of shops including up market designer boutiques.  There are also plenty of pubs, bars and cafes in the town.
