The country cottages at Bluegate Farm are two-storey, sleeping 4 - 6 people, one double room, one twin room and a sofabed. On the ground floor is a lovely, spacious, oak-beamed kitchen and dining area, fully equipped and with a rayburn oven giving you a warm welcome when you arrive. Also, on the ground floor is the twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room with toilet and sink. On the first floor is a light and airy lounge with an open pitched roof, a log burning stove (gas fuelled) set in a large brick fireplace, overlooking the countryside views across open farmland towards the ‘Chiltern Hills’. There is a large double bedroom, again with open beams and countryside views, next to this is the family bathroom. More About this Property and Booking Information


Woburn’ is only a short distance (15 minutes), a very old town with lots of eating places aswell as Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey. There is a real treat for the whole family (only a 5 minute drive) at ‘Mead Open Farm’ where there are lots of animals to see and feed, an indoor playbarn, tractor and trailer rides and various activities throughout the day to keep the children happy. ‘Old Warden Park’ near Biggleswade hosts the ‘world famous’ collection of historic aeroplanes & vehicles, ‘Bird of Prey’ centre and the ‘Swiss Gardens’. Milton Keynes (20 minute drive) offers an abundance of recreational facilities, shopping, skiing & snowboarding at ‘Xscape’ and a multi-screen cinema, museums, galleries and theatre, water sports and cycling at Willen Lake. There are a number of golf courses open to non-members and health and leisure centres all within a few miles.
Both cottages have been converted to a very high standard ( we are waiting for inspection), they are very well-equipped with gas central heating throughout. Each cottage has it’s own private garden area with furniture and plenty of car-parking space. Available all through the year.
