Looking for a beautiful self-catering property to rent in a tranquil country location in Buckinghamshire?  If so, the Barn at Lower Bassibones Farm could be the perfect place for you.

Sleeps 5, 2 Bedroom Barn close to Wendover and Great Missenden

Inside this 2 bedroom barn conversion features extensive exposed beams and offers plenty of charm.  Outside the setting is pretty special too, with the property sitting within large gardens next to the fields and farmlands of Lower Bassibones Farm.

The Barn at Lower Bassibones Farm is four star rated and the accommodation comprises of:

A spacious open plan living area with lounge area and dining area that opens out to the patio where you can dine alfresco in summertime or sit out and enjoy views out to the garden.  There is also a well equipped kitchen with double oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine.   There are two comfortable bedrooms; a double bedroom with a king-size bed, a twin bedroom, an office and a luxury shower room with W.C. Underfloor central heating ensures comfortable temperatures during the colder months. A cot, high chair and baby gate are available for younger children and a temporary foldaway bed can be supplied for a fifth guest.

The sunny patio area to the front of the property is a great spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and watch the sunset.

Parking is available for three cars

Dogs can be accepted by prior arrangement and subject to certain conditions.

Nearby Wendover is home to a good choice of walks too including a canalside walk and just outside of the town is the Coombe Hill walk where you can enjoy some superb vistas and from the monument you can even see Chequers in the distance.  Nearby Wendover Woods are another popular location for walkers and cyclists.  Rumseys Cafe in Wendover is a popular spot to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some handmade chocolates.  Wendover offers a choice of restaurants aswell.

Great Misseden is home to the Roald Dahl museum and nearby Tring houses a Natural History Museum where there is a startling collection of stuffed mammals and even insects, sure to fascinate both adults and children.  Also just 40 minutes' drive away is Whipsnade Zoo so families will find plenty to keep them entertained in Bucks.
