A 150 year old grade II listed mews cottage situated at the end of a private driveway in the beautiful rural village of Hindon. This holiday home has been sympathetically restored, with a well-equipped fitted kitchen offering modern convenience, and an appealing sitting room warmed by a wood-burning stove. Astonishing countryside is all about in the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while opportunities for day trips abound with the historic sites of Stourhead, Longleat, Shaftesbury, Stonehenge and Salisbury all close by.

Kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, digital colour TV, DVD player, DVDs, library of books, maps and walking guides, etc. All fuel and power and initial supply of logs for woodburning stove included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Small gravel and paved patio with garden furniture to front of cottage. One well behaved dog welcome at £10 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk.  Wiltshire in England is located on the edge of England’s West Country.  Wiltshire is predominantly a rural county with plenty of unspoilt countryside.  Salisbury in Wiltshire is a small city with a rich history which can be seen in the many historical buildings including some fascinating National Trust properties.  Another must see attraction in Wiltshire is the world famous stone circle of Stonehenge.

The peaceful village of Hindon quietly sits on the border of Wiltshire and Dorset in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just six miles from the historic town of Shaftesbury. This charming village of quaint cottages is home to two former coaching inns renowned for their excellent menus and exceptional selection of real ales. Hindon also boasts a great local shop whilst the surrounding countryside and gently undulating chalk downlands provide a wealth of walking and cycling opportunities. The local area is full of other towns worth visiting too and these include picturesque Stourhead, historic Shaftesbury and Longleat. The ancient, mysterious site of Stonehenge is also within easy driving distance whilst the wonderful cathedral city of Salisbury makes a great destination for a day trip.
