Stay in this charming 3 bedroom holiday cottage and enjoy a break in Cavendish, one of the prettiest villages in the Stour Vale with its village green, pastel coloured buildings, thatched cottages and country charm. Romney is really comfortable and this Suffolk cottage is stylishly furnished throughout. Pet-friendly, you can bring all of the family along as up to 2 well behaved pet dogs are welcome.
The lounge with its comfy sofas and warming open log fire is a great place to relax and catch up after a day's exploring the local area, whereas the country-style kitchen is a joy to cook in. French doors open out from the kitchen/breakfast room to the delightful enclosed walled cottage garden with patio area where you can enjoy dining al-fresco and where any children can happily play. For more formal dining, there is a cosy little dining room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms (one spacious double bedroom, a cosy double bedroom with garden views and a single bedroom) and the family bathroom with bath and shower over plus WC.
Outside, the cottage garden is a great place to relax with a glass of wine on a summer's evening. There are also three excellent local pubs should you wish to enjoy a sociable tipple out. Private off-road parking is available.
There are some lovely local walks around Cavendish, and this is also a delightful area of Suffolk for those who enjoy bike rides in the countryside. Enjoy days out discovering some of Suffolk's pretty villages such as Long Melford and Lavenham with their tea shops, boutique shops and country inns nearby. The bustling market town of Bury St Edmunds is also just half an hour's drive away and for forest walks, off-road bike roads and even a Segway ride experience, Thetford Forest Park is within an hour's drive.
