After dinner you can then move on to the sitting room complete with open fire, perfect for relaxing in during those cold winter nights. Those more interested in history should make sure that they don't miss a visit to Hever Castle, the ancestral home of Anne Boleyn, or Chiddingstone Castle, a lovely 19th century building that is open to the public. At the end of a long day of discovering what the surrounding areas have to offer you can rest in the knowledge that you have a fabulous manor house to return to.
