With an idyllic riverside setting and a location in Exmoor National Park, a mere 3 miles from Lynmouth and the coast, this beautiful pet-friendly 3 bedroom cottage could be the ideal place to relax and unwind on holiday with friends or family in Devon.

Benefiting from an edge of village location, large gardens, seclusion and privacy, Littlemead sleeps up to 6 people and is a great place to hideaway for a while, whilst enjoying access to some of the best of Devon just a short drive away.


Ideal Location for a Fishing Holiday in Devon

For those who love to fish this could be the perfect place to stay as guests can enjoy fishing for salmon or trout just a short distance downstream from the cottage (permits must be purchased from the Tourist Information Office in Lynton Town Hall).

Inside this 3 Bedroom Riverside Cottage

Inside, this holiday house is beautifully decorated and offers comfortable well-presented accommodation.  The sitting room features comfy seating,  a TV with Sky, DVD player, a warming woodburner and WiFi and is complemented by a second sitting room with wonderful valley views (again with Sky TV, DVD player) and dining area for 6 people.    The kitchen/diner is well equipped for easy self-catering with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

There are 3 comfortable bedrooms:

•    one downstairs double bedroom
•    one upstairs double bedroom
•    one upstairs twin bedroom.

There are 2 bathrooms; one family bathroom and one shower room.

Outside are  lawned gardens where you can sit out and enjoy this special and tranquil location.  There is a picnic table with parasol as well as a BBQ for use in summer time.  This is a great spot for dining alfresco in summertime or watching the sunset over the countryside.  The gardens lead down to the river bank.  Sorry no children under the age of 12 due to the proximity of the river.

Well behaved small dogs are welcome by arrangement (a charge of £20 per week per dog applies).

Ample parking available for up to 3 cars.

There are also lovely walks and horse riding stables not too far away.  Just 3 miles away is the Doone Valley, a particularly scenic area of Exmoor where you can enjoy walking amongst stunning scenery.  The Devon coast is close at hand too; the seaside town of Lynmouth with its good choice of shops, restaurants and coastal vibe is just 3 miles away and for golden sandy beaches head to Blue Anchor and Combe Martin beach (within around a 45 minute drive).


Electricity is on a meter.  We take an electricity deposit of £80 and the meter will be read at the beginning and end of each stay and any surplus refunded immediately to guests.
