Book a weekend break in the Derbyshire town of Matlock, on the edge of the Peak District and have a fabulous two or three days visiting the tourist attractions and having a good time. Arrive on a Friday at your rented holiday home, unpack and unwind before going out on the town. A weekend break can be more satisfying than a fill week because you can easily find a number of activities that you really want to do in the area rather than randomly look for things to do to fill your time. You won’t need to bring much for a weekend break either. With self-catering there is always the prospect of bringing enough food and drink but it doesn’t take much for 2-3 days. With a holiday home in Matlock and shops on your doorstep, you can easily pop down to get exactly what you need, even on a daily basis.
You might wish to have a couple of days out visiting the places that interest you in and around Matlock, Matlock Bath and the Peak District. Book a table in a restaurant if you want someone else to do the cooking and washing up. Just have a weekend of fun.
