2 Bedroom Lakeside Retreat with Lake Views and Fishing in the Peak District

Escape to Darwin Lake near Matlock.  Nestled next to a huge 3 acre private lake and woodland, this holiday village is an ideal place to relax and unwind close to the Peak District National Park.  Enjoy watching the sunset over this beautiful lake, or maybe enjoy toasting marshmallows over the large fire pit on the village green.  Guests can also enjoy fishing on site, or boating on the lake.

 

Inside this Beautiful 2 Bedroom Lakeside Holiday Home near Matlock

This welcoming 4 star rated sleeps 4 retreat enjoys some of the best views in the village with tranquil lake views.  Inside, the property has been decorated with love and care, combining elegant traditional style with a modern twist.

On the ground floor, the open plan living area is the real heart of the home, with its lounge area with comfy corner sofa and TV, dining area and well equipped kitchen with microwave, modern electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, and washing machine for easy self-catering.

Upstairs there are 2 comfortable bedrooms; one double with ensuite, and one twin bedroom.  The family bathroom completes the accommodation.

With stunning views over Darwin Lake, enjoy the tranquility and peace of a stay by the lake.

Guests can fish on the lake, or take a boat out, making this a great choice for a chilled out relaxing break with friends or family.  The village green with large firepit is also a great feature to enjoy.
