This nature reserve, which has several hides, is managed by the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. Visitors may spot bitterns, oystercatchers and avocets and many more birds, as well as animals such as water vole and otters. Non-members of the Trust must obtain a day permit to visit. For town amenities, Bromsgrove is close by. If you want live entertainment or to see a movie whilst on your self-catering break, the town’s Artrix Arts Centre is an excellent venue, with a 300-seat auditorium.
