People would be assured of a tranquil holiday staying anywhere near Thornham.  Its country lanes are ideal for cycling.  The Coast Hopper is a bus service that runs along the north Norfolk coast and allows holidaymakers to get on and off to explore the various villages along its route. This may appeal to ramblers who like a gentle walk and by using the bus service can explore a different Norfolk village every day of their holiday.

Amazingly, this small hamlet has five very good food pubs, some of which have heavy oak beams, huge open fireplaces and centuries of welcome travellers.  Another place to visit during a holiday is the Green and Pleasant Nursery on the west road out of Thornham which sells lavenders and grasses to buy and take home. Norfolk is famous for its lavender and you may just spot a field of highly scented shimmering purple if you book a holiday during July. There is a lavender farm near Heacham, seven miles west.

Whether you choose to book a holiday cottage in Thornham, an apartment, a lodge or another type of self-catering holiday accommodation, we hope you have your best holiday yet in Norfolk.
