This Grade II, stone-built cottage is situated right in the middle of the countryside in the hamlet of Millthorpe, near Baslow in the Peak District. Sleeping up to 7 guests in 3 spacious bedrooms, the cottage is the perfect place to go with friends or family if you are looking to get away from it all for a holiday in the countryside.

The cottage has been converted from a stable block and includes wonderful features like cruck beams, which give the property an abundance of character. The three bedrooms include a king-size double room, a twin room with a pullout bed and a twin room, giving you plenty of flexibility. There is also a lovely bathroom complete with bath and shower and a kitchen room complete with dining area. After enjoying a delicious meal, you and your family/friends can all gather in the sitting room, which includes a wood burner-effect electric stove or head to the games room and play a game of billiards. A sauna and hot tub in a separate private building add a touch of luxury to this already wonderful cottage. In the summer you can also make use of the garden area outside and relax on the comfortable patio furniture.

If don't feel like cooking one night then you do not need to travel far for an amazing meal out. There is an award-winning pub just up the road while the city of Sheffield is just a drive away. Spend your days walking and discovering the surrounding area and be sure to get yourself over to the Peak District National Park, a National Park that is full of some truly unbelievable sights.
