As soon as you step into the Old Post Office through its inviting red door, you’ll be welcomed into the lovely open-plan living and dining room. Recline back on the comfy leather sofa with your latest holiday read, or gather around the TV for a family film night. The wood-burning stove will keep you warm and cosy whatever the weather outside! If you fancy a bite to eat, then head over to the bright dining area, full of natural light and perfect for a yummy homemade breakfast.
 

The kitchen has an elevated, modern feel, elegantly designed to make the best use of its space with its striking black and red interiors. It boasts all the appliances you could need to rustle up 5-star dishes, including a gas hob and oven, fridge and freezer. There’s plenty of space too, so you’ll never have to cook alone! The utility room with its washing machine, tumble dryer and more is an added extra for your convenience.

The four stunning bedrooms are beautifully designed and comprise:  

• A ground floor bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room.

• A ground floor twin room with an en-suite shower room, so you can roll out of bed and cool down in the refreshing shower water.

• An upstairs king-sized room with luxurious furnishings and en-suite, 

• A cosy family room sleeping three, also with its own ensuite! 

There are a total of five bathrooms in the property.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden with lawn, ideal for holidaymakers with pets.  At the end of the garden is an area devoted to enjoying alfresco living; there is a lovely sociable covered dining area, and an inviting bubbly hot tub where you can enjoy long relaxing soaks on holiday.  There’s even a fenced pond to add to the beauty of this holiday home!

Beyond the cottage, enjoy the stunning surroundings, from the panoramic views of the Shropshire Hills (an Area of Outstanding National Beauty) to the Banks of the River Wye in Hay-on-Wye. Explore Hereford, Shrewsbury and Brecon for scenic national sites, or feed Red Kites at Rhayader. And if you travel into Llandrindod Wells you can even enjoy the Rock Park and Spa!
