Builth Wells is a delightful traditional Welsh market town on the River Wye which has many historical connections.  With the river running through it and surrounded by beautiful countryside, this town could be a good choice for a cottage holiday.  The town originally developed around a castle and the castle mound still remains and dominates the town to this day. There are loads of attractions including an excellent range of shops offering wonderful local produce and crafts.
