Gardeners Cottage is a lovely stone estate cottage sleeping 6 in two double bedrooms and one twin with a bathroom and a shower. There is a lovely secluded garden with garden chairs and barbeque.
Gardeners Cottage is situated 4 miles from Kington, a pretty Welsh Border town in one of the prettiest, and least spoiled parts of England. This is excellent walking and riding country on the Welsh Borders, close to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

There are some spectacular golf courses nearby, and salmon and coarse fishing is available on the river Wye, about a mile away. In the Winter months other sport such as shooting can be arranged by prior booking with local Estates. Herefordshire is steeped in history so the area is rich in historic towns, ancient buildings, and 'Black and White' villages. Gardeners Cottage is a delightful 19th Century stone cottage - part of a large estate. Downstairs it has kitchen, dining-room, utility room, shower room, sitting room with efficient logburner. The bedrooms upstairs are two large doubles (with kingsize beds and basins) and one smaller twin, all with shared bathroom. The dining room can comfortably accommodate 10 (if taken in conjunction with Field Cottage) and all mod cons are provided including TV/Video, stereo, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Hereford Cathedral is the home of the world famous 'Mappa Mundi' and 'Chained Library'. There are many excellent inns, restaurants, and good shops in the area.
