We also have OS Maps and walking trail booklets for the surrounding area so whether it be themed Waterfall Walks or Historical interest walks, there is plenty to choose from!
Recommended Places to Visit: Some places to explore include Lake Vyrnwy with it’s sculpture park and wonderful RSPB centre, Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, Steam Railways, Powys Castle, Machynlleth, Dolgellau, Newtown and all the wonderful towns and villages in between. Fancy a day at the coast? Try Aberdyfi, Borth, Aberystwyth, even Barmouth, all within driving distance of the Cottage.

Recommended Places to Eat Out: Local Pub (2 miles) serving home cooked meals and snacks. Ty Gwyn has good information folders supplying details on places to eat out locally, giving our Guests ideas of what is available locally, even recommendations from past Guests.
Local Sports: If you fancy horse riding there's a centre some 20 miles from Ty Gwyn - recommended by past Guests. For that Special treat why not book a helicopter flight from Welshpool airport. Fishing and Golf available a short distance away, even Alpaca Walking
