Spacious 3 bedroom holiday cottage in the Mendip Hills, just 20 Minutes’ Drive from Burnham on Sea
Golightly could be the ideal space for your next retreat away into the gorgeous countryside, complete with all you could need for a relaxing break away. It’s got everything from a captivating history (it’s named after a famous racehorse who used to live here!) to lovely authentic furnishings. Cosy up in the welcoming sofas, chill out in the large patio or relax in the sunshine in the enclosed garden.
Don’t forget to enjoy the Spa Day pass – the indoor pool, sauna, tennis courts and gym are well worth a visit (and there’s an additional hot tub and a swimming pool!). There’s truly everything you could need for a refreshing break away – it could be the perfect place for the whole family!

Inside Golightly, step into the beautiful living area. The comfy leather sofas and armchairs are just waiting for you to snuggle up in them. Stretch out with a good book or just catch up. There’s a smart TV with FreeSat to enjoy too, so you can look forward to a film night and some popcorn on an evening in. Or, sit up at the dining table with a warming cup of tea or coffee. It’s a lovely place for breakfast!
The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you could need to create a new meal or return to an old family favourite. The dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob and the microwave, make self-catering easy. You can even enjoy your meal outside if it’s a sunny day. The extensive patio area is laid out with plenty of outdoor furniture so you can relax under the sun with a spot of lunch.

The bedrooms sleep seven adults and one baby across three bedrooms and are laid out as follows:
• A triple room, with one double bed and single bed is a charming room to relax in for a good night’s sleep,
• An elegantly furnished twin bedroom,
• A bedroom with bunk beds – perfect for kids, or any adults looking to re-live some childhood nostalgia!
The family bathroom has a bath, shower, shaver point, toilet, hand basin and a heated towel rail, offering all the conveniences and luxurious that you could need.

Golightly looks out over gorgeous natural scenery as part of the Webbington farm complex. This is the perfect place to reconnect with nature! You can enjoy the sun out in the enclosed garden, or venture further out. You’ll be staying at the edge of Crooks Peak and Mendip Hills, with miles and miles of stunning countryside.
For days out, Cheddar Gorge is nearby and is truly unbeatable for a holiday destination. Visit and discover the cheddar show caves with Britain’s oldest complete human skeleton, and idyllic panoramic views. There’s an array of other fantastic sites to visit too. Thermae Bath Spa is a popular attraction for a soothing, luxurious pamper, or Clarks village is an amazing shopping destination! And if you’re a nature lover still looking for more after gorgeous Cheddar Gorge, then Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, as well as Exmoor, will definitely keep you happy! Days out at the seaside are possible too, with Burnham on Sea with its stretch of golden sands just 20 minutes’ drive away.
