West Wycombe is a village which is protected by the National Trust and is a fine place for a day out whilst on a cottage getaway. Walk up the hill to the mausoleum for fine views of the village and countryside below. Brave visitors may want to visit the eerie Hellfire Caves, a network of caves located under this hill which has links to the manor house in the village. After all that, the garden centre on the edge of the village has a lovely little café. For a day out to remember, West Wycombe comes highly recommended.
