Set in four acres of private gardens the Ploughman's Cottage provides the perfect place for a relaxing break in some of the best of Nottinghamshire countryside.
The cottage has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a family sized lounge/dining room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave and a fridge with small freezer compartment. There is a small utility room with a washing machine. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.
There is direct access from the front door along bridle paths to Vicar Water Country Park and from there into Clipstone Forest. Sherwood Forest with its links to Robin Hood is a few minutes away. The market town of Mansfield is five minutes away. There is ample parking.
Guests' well behaved dogs permitted only by prior written agreement.

Swimming pool in Mansfield where Olympic swimmer Rebecca Addlington trained, Watermeadows in Mansfield for flumes and wave machine.This is an excellent base for exploring the East Midlands. The road connections are excellent with easy access to the Peak District and many other places for days out. The town of Newark is just 18 miles away and may be of interest to anyone interested in antiques because it has a wealth of antique shops, riverside walks, castle ruins, lovely cafes, good shopping centre and market. Ideal for a day out.
