Also within easy reach of Chatton for days out whilst on a cottage break are some wonderful coastal towns and villages along with fantastic beaches and castles. Don’t miss coastal gems such as

Bamburgh which comes highly recommended for its majestic castle and beautiful golden sandy beach. Boat trips to the National Trust’s Lindisfarne Castle can make for a special day out to remember. There is a lack of free car parks along Northumbria’s coastline so again bringing plentiful change is essential.
