You can feed some of the animals, and there are play areas for children under 8 years old and for the under-5’s, in addition to a beach for everyone. Animals include goats, pigs, horses and rabbits. Also close by, the Fun Farm caters to those aged 12 and under, with play equipment and a sports court. More time in the countryside can be enjoyed at Hartsholme Country Park and at Swanholme Lake Nature Reserve.
For those who enjoy sports, Thorpe Park Golf Club is nearby and will keep keen golfers occupied. Also nearby is Apex Lake where keen fishers can book to go angling in season.
