Lapwing lodge with its tranquil lake views is ideal for a truly relaxing log cabin holiday.  This beautiful, spacious 3 bedroom lodge sleeps six, is pet-friendly (up to 2 well behaved pet dogs are welcome), and is set next to a lake on a working farm, just 10 miles from the historical city of Lincoln. With a tranquil decked area, you can spend days sat outside gazing at the sunny skies and glittering lake or curl up in the living area inside and enjoy the TV. You can even fish out on the lake or reservoir, both lovely locations perfect for a sunny morning!

However you want to spend your holiday, whether it be natural walks or historical adventures around castles and cathedrals, Lapwing Lodge could be the ideal place to stay!

Inside this Cosy Sleeps 6 Lincolnshire Holiday Lodge with Lake Views

Step into the spacious open plan living and dining area, a beautiful space designed for a relaxing and social experience. The sunlit living area is perfect to relax in, snuggled up in the sumptuous chairs inside the cosy wood-clad interior. Enjoy your favourite series or film on the TV, or flick through a new book. The dining area is another lovely place to relax, where you can have a chat to friends or family preparing a warming dinner in the kitchen. The kitchen is fitted out with all the equipment you could need – including a microwave, cooker, fridge-freezer, and a dishwasher – so you’ll be able to make whatever family favourites you’re craving!

For some fresh air, the beautiful French doors open out onto the covered deck area, the perfect place for breakfast and coffee outside, looking out over views of picturesque trees and the lovely lake. 

When you’re ready to catch up on some rest, the three bedrooms all offer a relaxing night’s sleep. 

The bedrooms and bathrooms comprise:

•A romantic double bedroom,, with authentic wood ceilings and pretty natural lighting, the ideal space for you to curl up in and have a lie in. It even has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, perfect for a quick morning refresh. 

•The second two bedrooms are both inviting twin rooms with a further bathroom with a bath, sink and toilet. Enjoy a soothing bath in the evenings before cosying up in the warm sheets. You’ll wake up ready for a new day of making memories!

Outside, the decked area is the perfect place to sit out and soak up the beautiful lakeside setting.

If you’re more interested in exploring the peaceful and secluded countryside that surrounds you, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to enjoy that’ll take you around all the stunning sites of the Lincolnshire Wolds and woodlands.
