Situated on a small holding close to Mowsley in Leicestershire and set within a lovely garden with views out over the unspoilt Leicestershire countryside, this is a fantastic rural retreat.

Beautifully furnished and well equipped for self-catering holidays, the accommodation includes a roomy lounge/diner with comfy leather sofas, TV and a dining area to seat 6, and this room boasts stunning country views. There is also a large high quality well equipped kitchen, three bedrooms (one master bedroom with a king-size bed and stunning countryside views, another double bedroom with a king-size bed and one twin bedroom) plus the family bathroom. Outside, the gardens at this property are a real treat and are ideal for sitting out and soaking up this wonderful rural location.

Whether for a romantic break or a family holiday, there is plenty to do nearby including walking by the Grand Union Canal, Welland Valley Way and meandering to Foxton Locks, plus bird-watching. Foxton Locks is just a walk away across country lanes. Other activities on offer nearby include fishing, golfing, horse riding and gliding. Days out can be enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Market Harborough or heading slightly further afield where you can visit the National Space centre in Leicester, Northampton & Lamport Railway, Market Harborough Museum or the Naseby Battlefield Trail to name just a few of the attractions. Within an hour’s drive and you can visit Warwick and Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon in Shakespeare’s Country which is only slightly further afield at just over an hour’s drive away.
