This thoughtfully designed holiday home has room for up to eight guests to relax, plus is pet-friendly, making it an ideal family getaway in the beautiful South Devon AONB. Look out over the gorgeous flowered courtyard or explore the stunning Devon coast on day trips out. There are a number of superb beaches within a half hour’s drive of Cherry Cottage including Slapton Sands, Blackpool Sands and Lannacombe Beach. Don’t forget to bring those furry friends along for the adventure, as up to two pets are allowed!

Inside this Sleeps 8 Cottage close to the Charming Village of Slapton in South Devon
Step into Cherry Cottage’s lovely living area and stretch out on the comfy sofas as you enjoy your new home from home. The spacious living room is elegantly designed, and will keep you warm with modern insulation, central heating and double glazing. Curl up and switch on the TV and enjoy your favourite film, or, catch up around the dining room table while you enjoy fresh food and hot drinks.
The kitchen is another lovely space, with authentic limed oak units adding a perfect decorative flair and plenty of equipment provided. There’s a gas hob, electric double oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and even a wine rack for any celebratory nights where you fancy some sparkly! The pine table is the perfect place to enjoy all these delights, it’ll be the ideal way to start and end the day! Or, head outside and sit on the bench seat amongst the flowers, a lovely space to relax in the fresh air.
The 4 bedrooms are just as beautiful and well designed as the rest of the property.
Three of the bedrooms enjoy views out over the romantic flower courtyard, while the bunk room has a velux window looking dreamily at the night sky. The rooms are all sure to offer you a relaxing nights sleep, and two even have en-suite power showers, so you can relax in the evening under a hot shower and then head straight to bed.
The bedrooms comprise of:
•A beautiful master bedroom with an ensuite shower,
•A luxurious double bedroom with an ensuite,
•A twin bedroom with a basin,
•A room with bunkbeds,
The family bathroom with bath, power shower, basin and WC completes the accommodation.
Outside are an expansive 1.5 acres of shared gardens and grounds with a pond and picnic tables where you can relax outdoors and enjoy dining alfresco.

Cherry Cottage is surrounded by unspoilt nature, from the sea to the rolling greenery. East Portlemouth and Salcombe harbour are well worth a visit, with lovely sandy beaches, to a ferry service that makes for an excellent day out. Slapton Sands is a lovely shingle and sandy beach which is less than 2 miles away. You can even go sailing yourself if that’s your thing! Or, visit the stunning Gardens at Sharpitor, a National trust property with 6 acres of exotic trees, shrubs and plants that’ll fascinate everyone and photogenic views over the estuary. Or, take a cruise and discover the wreck of a Bronze age ship and intriguing treasures.
If you prefer to spend time in the countryside, scenic Dartmoor National Park is within half an hour’s drive. Whatever you’re looking for, Cherry cottage promises quite the adventure!
