Description: About Striding Holiday Lodge

Tucked away in the White Cross Bay Holiday Park in the Lake District is this gorgeous Scandinavian-style lodge. Sleeping up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, the lodge is the perfect choice for a large family who are looking to get away for a lakeside holiday.

All of the lodgeâ€™s accommodation is located on the ground floor while it is also home to a fantastic open plan living area, which includes a modern kitchen and dining area, great for those home-cooked meals, and a sitting area complete with gas fire. The dining area also leads out onto a decked terrace where you and your family can relax and enjoy your fabulous surroundings. If the weather is not that great or if you just fancy a swim then you can take advantage of the shared on-site leisure facilities, which include an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. There is also a bar and a restaurant if you feel like a night out of the kitchen and a gym and a play park so both the kids and the adults will never be bored.

As the holiday park is located on the shores of Lake Windermere, there are plenty of outdoor activities on offer when staying at this lovely lodge. The whole family will love a trip on the steam railway while there are also many walking and cycling opportunities available right on your doorstep. Be sure to take your kids down to Bowness-on-Windermere for The World of Beatrix Potter and enjoy your time in this truly outstanding lakeside location.
