This first-floor barn conversion is located on a working farm in the Newlands Valley, not far from the market town of Keswick in the Lake District National Park. Sleeping up to 4 people comfortably in 2 delightful bedrooms, the cottage enjoys views of the surrounded fells and valley, making it a fantastic countryside destination.
Old beams and original window reveals give the cottage heaps of character and charm that make it feel like a home away from home. You can prepare some truly delicious home-cooked meals in the fitted kitchen, which is a part of the cottage's open-plan living design. Enjoy meals together on the provided dining table or outside patio area before retiring to the sitting area for a night spent together in front of the lovely wood-burning stove. At the end of the night you can then go to bed in one of the two bedrooms, both of which are super king-size doubles with en-suites and are located at either end of the sitting room.
This charming cottage is the place to stay if you love walking. The Newlands Horseshoe, a fantastic 5-hour walk that features incredible sights and views, is just minutes away while the Lake District National Park is of course also full of other fantastic trails. If you need to pick up some things then the village of Braithwaite is nearby and is home to some lovely pubs, great for a meal out if you don’t feel like cooking. After a long day of walking there is no better feeling than returning to your very own country cottage for a night spent with the ones you love most.
