We are very fortunate to have such a lovely long coastline in Britain and Ireland with so many pretty coastal villages and good beaches. The majority of the larger seaside resorts will have beaches with a dog ban, however there are literally hundreds of unspoiled coves and bays where dogs are allowed, even in the seaside holiday hotspots of the West Country in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
