We have a selection of self-catering holiday properties that would suit people looking to rent a pet-friendly cottage in Norfolk. All of these cottages and lodges have a secure enclosed back garden. Although it is not permitted to leave dogs alone in a holiday cottage garden whilst you go out for the day, a garden is a boon, especially first thing in the morning.
The usual hygiene rules apply about clearing up after your pet but it is convenient to have somewhere on the spot for the dog to take a wee. Norfolk has miles after mile of gorgeous places to walk. There are fields full of wheat and it’s always a joy to spot a few red poppies nodding in the breeze. There are wood, miles of coastline with sand and shingle beaches, sand dunes and tiny hamlets in the middle of nowhere.
