This Yorkshire self-catering watermill is a unique and characterful place to stay.  Dating back to the 13th century, this special property is Grade II listed.  There are some marvellous original features including exposed stonework, wooden beams, low doorways and some remaining parts of the mill still in place.  All in all there are 5 bedrooms at this property, one of which has ensuite facilities, making this an ideal place for large family getaways or large groups of friends. Four of the bedrooms are double and one is a single bedroom.  This watermill also has a sitting room with dining area, a second sitting room with open fire, a study, a sun room, a kitchen, a WC and one family bathroom.  This house also benefits from 4 TVs with Freeview and WiFi internet access.   

Outside of the property there is seating where you can sit out and watch the ducks on the nearby pond.  There is also a decked courtyard with seating under which water flows below.  Set in a historical part of the village, nearby are the remains of Tickhill Castle and just a few minutes walk away there are a range of pubs, restaurants and shops.

With a stay at this unusual self-catering property you can be assured of a holiday to remember.  Within relatively easy reach for day trips is the Peak District National Park.  More greenery and country walks can be found in Sherwood Forest in nearby Nottinghamshire or in the Derbyshire Dales.
