With 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, exposed beams, original stone interior walls and original fireplaces, this welcoming holiday home sleeps up to 16 guests in style and comfort.
The farmhouse has a lovely large enclosed south-facing private garden and is set on a working farm. Guests can enjoy exploring the local footpaths and the surrounding countryside. The North Pennines AONB with its superb walking trails is just a couple of miles away.
This could be the ideal place to relax and unwind with your nearest and dearest, and with a huge dining area with seating for up to 22 people, this is the ideal venue for celebrating those special occasions like big birthdays, reunions or hen parties altogether.
For guests who want to explore the local area, the historical city of Durham is only 17 miles away with its historical castle, cathedral, eateries, shops and river boat trips. Other attractions within reach for day trips include Beamish Living History Museum and Barnard Castle. Also within an hour’s drive is Hadrian’s Wall country with its Roman forts, and the Northumberland moors.

The Farmhouse has oak wood flooring throughout and is heated by oil central heating. Stunning country views are a feature of many of the rooms.

Outside there is a private south-facing garden with patio and garden furniture, ideal for soaking up the superb rural setting and appreciating the views.

For larger groups requiring additional accommodation, there is a barn conversion on site which can also be rented by arrangement and sleeps up to 6.
