Southover House is 1/2 mile south of Tolpuddle village in Dorset; it is the centre of a 100 acre working estate. The house faces south and looks out over its own fields and woodland - offering excellent walking in the beautiful Dorset countryside. The park like grounds have numerous mature specimen trees and sweeping lawns. The heated swimming pool is set on the west side of the house in an exclosed hedge close to the house. It measures 32 x 16 ft and has a pool house seating 6 to 12. There is an outside barbacue area with seating.
The ground floor has four reception rooms - a traditional drawing room seating 12 and a panelled dining room seating 18. The study has a tv and dvd. The party room can be set up to seat 40 people and adjoins the kitchen. This is fully equipped with Aga, electric cooker, two fridges, freezer microwave etc. In the semi basement there is a large games room with table tennis and table top football.

Upstairs there are seven bedrooms sleeping 14. There are cots available. The master bedroom is a double with an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a twin with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 3 is a double with large ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 4 is a twin with a door to the family bathroom. this has bath with overheasd shower, basin and wc. It has has the washing machine and tumble drier. Bedroom 5 is a twin; bedroom 6 is a double and bedroom 7 is a twin with one bed being small.
