Set on a working farm with nature walks, a lake, fishing by the river, a tennis court, table tennis and more on site, this is a great place to relax and unwind with friends and family in idyllic surroundings. For coast as well as country on your rural break, good beaches like Ringstead Bay, Studland Bay and Chesil Beach are only around half an hour’s drive away.
This is a pet-free holiday home and no pets are allowed.
Inside this Luxurious Sleeps 10 Rural Retreat in Dorset
This welcoming holiday home in parts dates back to the 17th century, and has been lovingly refurbished to combine character and modern luxuries together seamlessly. Guests appreciate features such as the original inglenook fireplace, woodburner, quirky low doors and bread oven. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, beautifully presented and each has a flatscreen TV, high quality Egyptian linen, and deep pocket sprung Vi spring mattresses.

• Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge/freezer,

Upstairs Layout:
• Spacious master bedroom with super king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom features a free-standing rolltop bath with shower head, a basin, WC and heated towel rail. This bedroom enjoys south facing views and looks out to the lake and parking area,

Outside is a lovely walled garden, edged with herbs, complete with a terrace which can be somewhat of a suntrap! There is a lovely 6ft round table and curved benches for dining alfresco, as well as a large 3m parasol. A charcoal BBQ is provided for your use.
The garden is a lovely tranquil secure space, sheltered by traditional farm buildings and woodland. The lawn area is a great area for children to play and guests are also welcome to walk around the onsite nature trails and meadows.

Guests can take advantage of the on-site tennis court, shared on a scheduled basis with the owners and the neighbouring cottage. For more fun times, there’s also table tennis available, with bats and balls supplied, ideal for some friendly competition with friends or family.

Surrounded by 600 acres of scenic farmland owned by the hosts, guests can explore a private nature trail right on the property.
