Black Dog Lodge offers a single-level, ground floor accommodation accessible via four steps. The lodge comfortably sleeps four guests, with a king-size bedroom featuring an ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom where a travel cot, along with a highchair, is provided. Please bring your own bedding for the cot. The open-plan living area includes a modern kitchen, a feature electric fire, and a stylish family bathroom. A gated deck with a BBQ stand is perfect for enjoying the outdoors, and dogs are warmly welcomed. Note that charging of electric vehicles is not permitted, with the nearest point at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

White Cross Bay, where Black Dog Lodge is located, provides excellent onsite facilities, including a pool, bar, and restaurant. A complex pass purchased at reception is required for access, and prices may vary. Complimentary WiFi is available, and disposable BBQs must be used on provided stands. The park enforces a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond and has specific rules, including keeping dogs on leads and prohibiting commercial vehicles, caravans, and certain party groups. Guests should note that park operations, which may affect facilities, are beyond the control of Lake District Lodge Holidays.
