Stay in a cottage complex to enjoy its facilities

Sociable people and especially families often like to book self-catered accommodation in a holiday park where there will be lots of other people staying and have an opportunity to make friends.

All of the holiday homes shown on this page are part of a group of properties. Some are bigger groups than others. What they do tend to have is good communal facilities for people to share. These could be:

• Childrens playgrounds

Any family with older children would appreciate allowing them out to play with the other children in the holiday park. Many holiday parks are essentially gated communities with CCTV access. The facilities at each one will be very different, so do read about any that you might be interested in and perhaps call the owners to find out more. If a property is shown as booked, because it is part of a group of cottages or pine lodges, it is worth phoning to see if there is availability in another rental on site.
