Homely and welcoming, Lambing Field Cottage sleeps up to 4 adults (travel cot available on request). Comfortable throughout, there is a lovely lounge where you can relax and take it easy, a well equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer and washing machine, one twin bedroom, one double bedroom and one family bathroom. Outside is a garden with outdoor seating so you can sit out and enjoy this magnificent setting and look out to the Cheviot Hills and the Bowmont Valley. Families in particular will appreciate the on site children's play area with swings.
This lovely farm cottage is very well placed for walking, hiking and wildlife watching. Horse riding can be enjoyed too (it's possible to book riding with us, and even stabling for those looking to holiday with their horse). There are excellent riding trails available from the farm. Nearby are the gorgeous Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park is only around 15 minutes' drive away.
Nearby are many places of interest in the Borders including historical abbeys, woollen mills and historic houses. For days out, you can even visit the coastline of the Borders within a 45 minute drive, as well as the Northumbria coast with Bamburgh with its superb golden sandy beach and historic castle within an hour's drive of Lambing Field Cottage.
