Ruswarp Village Delight

Nestled in an elevated position above Ruswarp village, Danby Cottage is one of eight properties in a small development of converted barns. This cottage is perfect for families seeking a peaceful retreat while remaining just a short five-minute drive from the vibrant Whitby seaside town. The spacious open plan living area is beautifully furnished, featuring character beams and a stone fireplace with a gas woodburner-effect stove, creating a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the separate dining area is perfect for family meals. Upstairs, the three bedrooms offer stunning views of the distant hills.

The stable door leads to a gravelled patio, offering superb views of the surrounding countryside, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets. Visitors can enjoy boating on the River Esk or indulge in coffee and cake at the riverfront tea room.
